Some commercial vendors may reach out to you and try to convince you to sell the notes you take in this class.  Selling my notes to any commercial service will be considered a violation of my intellectual property rights and/or copyright law, as well as a violation of the University’s academic integrity policy.  Your continued enrollment in this class signifies your understanding of, and your intent to abide by, this policy.

C. Administrative unit name change for the Fulbright College of Arts and Sciences, Music Department - Piano Area of Study.  The Department of Music changed the piano area of study to the Emily J. and J.W. McAllister Piano Area of Study (4a_The Emily J. and J.W. McAllister Piano Area of Study Report).

D. Name change of Human Performance Laboratory to Exercise Science Research Center, College of Education and Health Professions (4b_ESRC – Name Change Admin Unit – Ltr of Notification).

A. COIA - Motion to withdraw our affiliation with COIA (Tom Jensen)

Tom Jensen presented information on COIA. The motion will come up for a vote next month.

B. Academic Integrity Policy - Karen Hodges

Policy Revision

Motion to table policy revision and send it back to committee. Motion failed 19 to 17.

Will return for a vote next month.

Sanction Revision

The Committee will take the sanction revision back to committee to clarify the proper place for addressing the sale of notes - academic integrity or student conduct?!

C. Recommended changes to the composition of the All University Academic Integrity Board (AUAIB).  (Committee on Committees)

a. Continuous Enrollment Policy Changes

“Registration. All doctoral students who have been admitted to candidacy must enroll in a minimum of one hour of graduate course work or dissertation credit every major semester (fall, spring, summer) until they graduate. Under unusual circumstances, this enrollment requirement may be waived for post-candidacy doctoral students for up to two years, with an approved request for a leave of absence. Note:  doctoral students must also be enrolled in a minimum of one hour of graduate credit in the semester that they graduate.”
