V. Reports

A. Provost Sharon Gaber - The Provost was ill today. Ro reported briefly on the changes to the P & T
process; packets will need to be online by August 10th.

B. Drop Deadline Extension, Dave Dawson - Proposal to move the drop deadline from the 10th week to
the 13th week of the semester. This gives students more time to think about their grades, gets them to through priority registration to discuss with their advisers the option of dropping or staying in a course. The big question: How much do students need to know before they drop? We will vote on this at the April meeting of the Faculty
Senate.

C. Ro DiBrezzo, Chair - March 30th, a retreat with the Chancellor; Presentations only from the Faculty, Staff and Student governance leaders. Also, Ro has asked all to consider whether there is anything else we want to add to our teacher evaluation process. Think about this and let Ro know. Still need to examine closely our post-tenure review process.
