The following items are referred to the Faculty Senate for review and action at its meeting scheduled for November 12, 2008 (Table Key):

1. Undergraduate and School of Law course change proposals approved by the University Course and Programs Committee on September 26 and October 24, 2008: Table A and Table D.

2. Graduate and Dual credit course change proposals approved by the University Course and Programs Committee on September 26, 2008 and the Graduate Council on September 18, 2008 and October 9, 2008: Table B and Table C.

3. Proposed undergraduate program change for the Dale Bumpers College of Agricultural, Food and Life Sciences - Department of Animal Science – ANSCBS – BSA, Animal Science (Table 1, Attachment 1A) was approved without opposition by the University Course and Programs Committee on September 26, 2008. 

4. Proposed undergraduate program change for the Dale Bumpers College of Agricultural, Food and Life Sciences - Department of Food Science – FDSCBS, BSA, Food Science (Table 1, Attachment 1B) was approved without opposition by the University Course and Programs Committee on October 24, 2008.

5. Proposed undergraduate program change for the College of Education and Health Professions – Department of Curriculum and Instruction – CATEBS – BSE, Career and Technical Education, BUED Concentration (Table 2, Attachment 2A) was approved without opposition by the University Course and Programs Committee on September 26, 2008.

6. Proposed undergraduate program change for the College of Education and Health Professions – Department of Curriculum and Instruction – CATEBS – BSE, Career and Technical Education, TEED Concentration (Table 2, Attachment 2B) was approved without opposition by the University Course and Programs Committee on September 26, 2008.

7. Proposed undergraduate program change for the College of Education and Health Professions – Department of Health Science, Kinesiology, Recreation and Dance – HLSCBS– BSE, Health Science (Table 2, Attachment 2C) was approved without opposition by the University Course and Programs Committee on October 24, 2008.

8. Proposed undergraduate program change for the College of Education and Health Professions – Department of Health Science, Kinesiology, Recreation and Dance – KINSBS – BSE, Kinesiology, Concentrations II and III (Table 2, Attachment 2D) was approved without opposition by the University Course and Programs Committee on October 24, 2008.

9. Proposed undergraduate program change for the College of Education and Health Professions – Department of Health Science, Kinesiology, Recreation and Dance – KINSBS – BSE, Kinesiology, Concentrations II and III (Table 2, Attachment 2E) was approved without opposition by the University Course and Programs Committee on October 24, 2008. (This is a second item for the KINSBS program)

10. Proposed undergraduate program change for the College of Education and Health Professions – Department of Health Science, Kinesiology, Recreation and Dance – RECRBS – BSE, Recreation (Table 2, Attachment 2F) was approved without opposition by the University Course and Programs Committee on October 24, 2008.

11. Proposed undergraduate program change for the College of Education and Health Professions – Eleanor Mann School of Nursing – NURSBS – BSN, Nursing (Table 2, Attachment 2G) was approved without opposition by the University Course and Programs Committee on October 24, 2008.

12. Proposed graduate program change for – Department of Health Science, Kinesiology, Recreation and Dance – PHEDME – MED, Physical Education – (Table 3, Attachment 3A) was approved without opposition by the Graduate Council on October 8, 2008.

C. Information Item

A Center for Children and Youth has been established and will reside in the Department of Curriculum and Instruction in the College of Education and Health Professions. Dr. Michael Daugherty is Department Head.
