A. Consent Agenda

The following items are referred to the Faculty Senate for review and action from the Graduate Council:

1. Undergraduate and School of Law course change proposals approved by the University Course and Programs Committee on December 19, 2008: Table A and Table D.

2. Graduate and Dual credit course change proposals approved by the University Course and Programs Committee on November 21, 2008 and the Graduate Council on December 18, 2008: Table B and Table C.

3. Undergraduate and graduate courses were approved to remain active even though the courses listed in Table E have had no enrollment for the past five years and approved to be inactivated the courses listed in Table F that have had no enrollment for the past five years.

4. Proposed graduate program change for the Department of Agricultural Economics and Agribusiness – AGECMS – MS, Agricultural Economics - (Table 1, Attachments 1A and 1B) was approved without opposition by the University Course and Programs Committee on November 21, 2008 and the Graduate Council on December 18, 2008.

5. Proposed graduate program change for the Department of Rehabilitation, Human Resources and Communication Disorders - CNSLMS – MSE, Counseling - Community Counseling Concentration - (Table 1, Attachments 1C and 1D) was approved without opposition by the Graduate Council on December 18, 2008.

6. Proposed graduate program change for the Department of Curriculum and Instruction – CHEDMA – MAT, Childhood Education - (Table 1, Attachment 1E) was approved without opposition by the Graduate Council on December 18, 2008.

7. Proposed graduate program change for the Department of Curriculum and Instruction – EDLEME – MED, Educational Leadership - (Table 1, Attachments 1F and 1G) was approved without opposition by the Graduate Council on December 18, 2008.

8. Proposed graduate program change for the Department of Curriculum and Instruction – EDLEES – EDS, Educational Leadership - (Table 1, Attachments 1H and 1I) was approved without opposition by the Graduate Council on December 18, 2008.

15. Proposed graduate program change for the proposed interdisciplinary certificate program – PROFGC - Preparing for the Professorate - (Table 1, Attachments 1R and 1S) was approved without opposition by the University Course and Program Committee on November 21, 2008 and the Graduate Council on December 18, 2008.

B. Item #32 removed from December Consent Agenda

"32." Proposed change to modify Academic Grievance Procedures for Graduate Students as requested by the Faculty Senate approved by the Graduate Council on November 20, 2008. (Attachment One).

C. For future Consideration

Final Exam Policy. Students who have three or more final exams scheduled on one day will be allowed reschedule one of the exams. This policy outlines the procedure and limitations in that process. We are soliciting your comments before the next Executive committee meeting.
